Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important aspect of Siderval’s vision. We look beyond economic performance and fully integrate ecological and social factors into our strategy. From an environmental perspective, we cover 100% of our electricity needs with renewable sources, including wind and hydropower, and we continue to improve our sustainability practices. This commitment has also been recognized with a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, an independent international platform that assesses companies’ sustainability performance. From a social perspective, we prioritize maintaining a safe working environment and actively support the well-being of our employees, ensuring they operate in healthy and secure conditions.
Safety and Innovation at Work
Siderval prioritizes the safety and well-being of its workforce. The installation of a robotic billet drilling system in 2023 has significantly reduced risks at the workstation without impacting job availability. To further enhance workplace safety, we’ve collaborated with FAS to procure specialized equipment and train operators for working at heights and confined spaces. With these measures, we strive to provide a safer, more efficient work environment for our team.
